The Kitora Tumulus Environs of the Asuka Historical National Government Park was opened on September 24, 2016, and is one of five areas in the park.
This is a park, covering an area of 13.8 hectares, in which the Kitora Tumulus is preserved integrally with its surrounding nature and rural scenery so that visitors can enjoy learning about the history, topography, and culture of Asuka.
Its main facility is Kitora Tumulus Mural Experiential Museum Shijin no Yakata (House of Four Deities) where you can have fun learning about the Kitora Tumulus and its mural paintings.
